Business Development Manager (London & South MSP, home based) 
£40,000 Basic £80,000 OTE Per Annum + Company Car (Subject to Experience)
My Staffordshire-based, Microsoft Gold Partner MSP client is growing their southern team of technical and commercial home-based staff, who enjoy flexible working from home with travel to customer sites and monthly two-day-with-overnight visits to the HQ team.

The successful candidate should have worked previously within a commercial role for an IT support business, value added reseller or managed services provider, and aspiring to develop their career and skills by expanding their work experience to the next level. Suitable candidates will already work in a commercial role, which includes customer acquisition and management. 

My clients' customers range from small start-ups to multi-national companies with hundreds of users, in business sectors ranging from manufacturing to healthcare & professional services, offering a vast market place in which to hunt and farm margin opportunities.

With a focus on new business the successful candidate will be creating and cultivating a prospect pipeline of new customers across the full spectrum of my clients stack from recurring cloud and management services to infrastructure projects from self generated and my clients own marketing generated leads.

Working closely with the Managing Director, Sales admin team and Technical Leads, the successful candidate will be responsible for guiding new opportunities through the sales process; ensuring profit targets are achieved.  

Once a new account is won, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating a strategic account plan and managing a communications strategy. Clear, consistent communication internally and externally, combined with a consistent attitude towards client follow up is a basic expectation for this role as is being comfortable managing other internal resources such as Technical Leads in order to educate prospects about new technologies and how best to use them for the benefit of their business.

Given travel requirements candidates should be with easy access to London via trains/tubes in addition to holding a full driving license with access to vehicle for travel to customer & prospect sites and monthly HQ visits.
