1st Line Technician (Reigate MSP)
£18,000 - £22,000 Per Annum (Subject to Experience)
An entry level opportunity has arisen for my client’s MSP business within their technical services team.

Due to continued growth, a role has been newly created for a further team member. The role benefits from having a well-established team to support and mentor the successful candidate, providing a real opportunity for personal development and attaining the next level of technical expertise, whilst delivering exceptional IT services to my clients’ customers. 

The successful candidate should have worked previously within a technical role for an IT support business, value added reseller or managed services provider, and aspiring to develop their career and skills by expanding their work experience to the next level. Therefore, suitable candidates could currently be working on a service desk or have gained work experience on a services desk as part of a IT Apprenticeship (such as Zenos Academy, Just IT or QA). 

Additionally, the successful candidate will have shown dedication to their professional development by achieving industry recognised qualifications such as CompTIA accreditations or Microsoft MSP and be planning to achieve an MCSE and have direct experience of working with common MSP tools and technologies, such as Autotask, ConnectWise, Kaseya, Zendesk, VMware, AWS, Azure and Office 365.

The role will include working with and therefore requires experience of;
  • Server platforms including Windows 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016 & SBS (entry level skills only)
  • Desktop platforms including Windows 7, 10 and MAC Operating Systems
  • Active Directory, DNS & GPOs
  • Office 365 
  • Networking, switching, VPNs and Firewalls
  • Backup and Business Continuity including Acronis, StorageCraft and Cloudberry
Although based at my clients' office near Reigate, travel to customer sites in London and surrounding area is required in time, so a full, clean driving license and access to own car is essential. 

Finally, as the core link between my client and their customers, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, to represent my client’s business with professionalism whilst building trust and confidence with their customers.
