1st to 2nd Line Support Engineer (Leeds MSP)
£22,000 - £24,000 Per Annum (Subject to Experience)
Due to continued growth, a role has been created for a further team member within my client's MSP to the east of Leeds. The role benefits from boasting a well-established team to support and mentor the successful candidate, providing a real opportunity for personal development and attaining the next level of technical expertise whilst delivering exceptional IT services to my clients’ customers. 

The successful candidate should have worked previously within a technical role for an IT support business, value added reseller or managed services provider, and aspiring to develop their career and skills by expanding their work experience to the next level to progress firstly to on site level and aspiring to project level in time, seeking to develop their technical depth now. 

The successful candidate will have shown dedication to their professional development by achieving industry recognised qualifications such as CompTIA accreditations or Microsoft MCP and be planning to achieve an MCSE and have direct experience of working with common MSP tools and technologies, such as Autotask, ConnectWise, Kaseya, Zendesk, VMware, AWS, Azure and Office 365.

The role will include working with and therefore requires experience of (appropriate for 1st to 2nd level MSP experience);
  • Server platforms including Windows 2012 - 2019 & SBS & Exchange (entry level skills only)
  • Desktop platforms including Windows 8, 10 and MAC Operating Systems
  • Active Directory, DNS & GPOs
  • Office 365 
  • Networking, switching, VPNs and Firewalls
  • Backup including Kaseya & Veeam
Although based at my clients' office to the east of Leeds, travel to customer sites is required in time, so a full, clean driving license and access to own car is essential. 

Finally, as the core link between my client and their customers, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, to represent my client’s business with professionalism whilst building trust and confidence with their customers.
